Curator Na Risong presented 20 works of Beat Kuert in a Solo-Exhibition
Pingyao Int'l Photography Festival first established in 2001 has become one of the world's largest photo exhibition that attracts in this suggestive old chinese town thousand of well-known photographers from more than 100 countries and regions.
"During our stay in Pingyao I realized a couple of site specific serials of works and performances together with Francesca Martire, some students of the art shool and with the help and partizipation of residents of Pingyao. (bk)"
The theme of our works and performances was: Coal the black gold of the earth around of Pingyao. Or the black soul of this for us very exotic place in China.
