The Hermit

If you are searching on Google for “Black” and you look at the images you will see a fantastic thing, a page full of black pictures. Its not a fault! The pictures are not empty, there is always a view behind it, that means the black pictures are full of information, all the black rectangles are doors to surprising worlds. So you understand that black is not nothing. Black is the absence of reflection of light. But the light is there. It reminds me of the Waite`s Tarot card the Hermit. The darkness around the hermit does hardly reflect any light. The lamp is his inner light and this light guides him through the darkness of his world. Black is the light of the underworld. It is the "color" of a black hole, the color of wisdom, the color of creativity. Sometimes, artists use black light to shine!
